Keith has been with the company since 2008 starting his journey with SafeNet, then Gemalto and now with Thales CPL. During this time of significant growth and transformation of the company, Keith has had the pleasure of building the sales team across the Nordics that supports our valued customers and partners today. He has experience managing strategic customer relationships on behalf of the Cloud Protection and Licensing group and has been instrumental in ensuring we are a Channel Business.
VP Sales EMEA, Data Security
Rob Elliss is Vice President Sales, EMEA for Data Security solutions at Thales, and has over 25 years of experience in the Information Security industry with a strong focus on encryption, identity management and associated technologies. Prior to his current role, Rob has held European sales leadership positions at Gemalto, SafeNet, Rainbow Technologies, Chrysalis and Idemia. During the early 2000s Rob was responsible for the introduction of nascent encryption and data security solutions to the EMEA market, having established the start-up Chrysalis business in the region. Rob has been instrumental in transforming data protection technologies from their early start-up phases through to what are now mature, market leading solutions at the heart of the Thales cybersecurity business and strategy.
VP Sales UK, Ireland and Nordics, Data Security
Aydin has been with the company since 2005 starting his Cybersecurity journey with SafeNet, then Gemalto and now with Thales. During these periods of significant growth and transformation of the company, Aydin has had the pleasure of building the sales team that supports our valued customers and partners today. He has experience managing strategic customer relationships on behalf of the Cloud Licensing and Protection group and has been instrumental in ensuring we are a Channel Business.
Director of Cloud Alliances
Tim is the Director of Cloud Alliances, EMEA at Thales CPL, and is responsible for helping organizations to take control of their digital sovereignty and accelerate their journey to cloud. Tim has held senior sales and business development roles in EMEA, APAC and the US working on digital transformation programs across highly regulated industries such as Finance, Telco and Public Sector. Prior to this, Tim was a CTO at a company specializing in AI, Machine Learning and Biometrics. Tim believes that the key to developing long-term partnerships is to maximize the customer experience.
Director, HSM Product Management
John Ray has over 20 years of experience in the security industry spanning many roles, from Sales Engineering, Security Architecture, and Professional Services to Product Management and Strategy. He is currently Director of Hardware Security Module (HSM) Product Management at Thales helping enterprises protect their keys and data on premise and in the cloud.
Sr. Product Line Manager
Stan is a Senior Product Line Manager at Thales for the High Speed Encryption (HSE) product family. With a focus on data-in-motion, Stan has engaged with technology partners and internal development teams to bring industry leading encryption products to market that meet commercial WAN requirements for networks up to 100Gbps and beyond. An experienced security professional, Stan has held roles ranging from engineering and operations to program and product management. With over 20 years in the cybersecurity field, Stan has worked with a variety of technologies including custom ASICs, secure smart cards and tokens, and a range of network encryption devices.
Director Strategic Partnerships
Romain is the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Cloud Protection division of Thales. He works with global Thales partners to help organisations accelerate and secure their digital transformation. Leveraging his GDPR DPO Data Protection Officer certification, his current focus is on developing strategies to address digital sovereignty issues with fast growing “cloud” environments, especially around data residency and security.
Sr. Director Business Development
Ari Hakala leads the team which is responsible for the business acceleration of the existing and upcoming Thales Data Protection as a Service offerings and thus helping to build successful end customer relationships and channel partnerships across the broad Thales customer and partner ecosystem within EMEA and APAC. Ari has been at Thales for over 10 years and thus having extensive experience with the Thales solutions when it comes to helping customers and partners to benefit from them in a best possible manner. He is now putting his expertise also into enabling variety of partners to offer the Thales data protection and encryption key management technologies as simple to use & offer managed services - with the Thales Data Protection On Demand cloud platform.
Senior Product Operations Manager, CipherTrust
Steve Kingston has been responsible for Thales’ enterprise key management offerings for the last 9 years. Recently, he has moved to assume the role of Senior Product Operations Manager, CipherTrust portfolio. In this role, his focus shifts to the sellability of the platform, new product introductions, and business analysis for the portfolio. Steve has led initiatives within Thales to broaden its partner ecosystem for its product offerings and engaged with partners and customers globally.
Pre Sales Consultant
Kaare has worked as a consultant and IT specialist in IT infrastructure and security throughout Europe. With his extensive experience, Kaare is today part of Thales Scandinavian team of special consultants within Enterprise and Cyber Security products.
Channel Sales Manager Nordics
Jonas Herner has over 15 years of experience in the security industry working with channel partners all along this period. Jonas role at Thales has been for the past 6 years, partner enablement helping Thales partners to remain compliant with Thales Accelerate Program, and supporting partners in their customer meetings regarding Thales solutions.
